This week the CCSD team enjoyed their visit to Auburn University on Wednesday for the AU College of Education (Fall) Teacher Recruitment Fair. We were able to meet several new teacher candidates and interviewed more than a dozen AU students that will be graduating mid year.

The National Fire Protection Association has announced this year's theme for Fire Prevention Week October 6-12: "Smoke alarms: Make them work for you! The goal of this year's campaign strives to educate everyone about the importance of having working smoke alarms in the home.
CCSD High Schools will support our seniors with submitting applications to colleges nationwide as this is free college application week for Alabama. Seniors can apply to colleges & universities from October 7-11th. Let's encourage our seniors taking next steps in their promising futures.
