Students & staff, join us on Thursday, Oct. 10th to celebrate World Mental Health Day, by wearing your favorite green shirt or top with your uniform bottoms to show to show your support for mental health awareness. Green is a healthy symbol for optimism, energy, & fresh starts.




The National Fire Protection Association has announced this year's theme for Fire Prevention Week October 6-12: "Smoke alarms: Make them work for you! The goal of this year's campaign strives to educate everyone about the importance of having working smoke alarms in the home.




CCSD High Schools will support our seniors with submitting applications to colleges nationwide as this is free college application week for Alabama. Seniors can apply to colleges & universities from October 7-11th. Let's encourage our seniors taking next steps in their promising futures. Due to an abundance of caution, the CCSD will release students on Thursday, Sept. 26th at 12 noon local time for schools. Friday, Sept. 27th will be an E-Learning Day for all students & staff working from home. This decision was made as a safety precaution. Stay weather aware.
