School will be dismissing 15 minutes early today, March 3. Car riders will begin at 2:30. Buses will run 15 minutes early as well.
The Chambers County School District is announcing plans to implement a delayed start for Thursday, March 2, 2023. All schools in the district will have a two hour delay on Thursday morning. The purpose for the delayed start will be to provide everyone across the district the opportunity to support the Valley High School Varsity Boys Basketball Team in their Final Four State Championship Semi-Final appearance. The Class 5A undefeated Valley Rams will make their appearance at the Legacy Arena in the BJCC located in Birmingham on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. The semifinal matchup is the last game on the slate for the day with game time set for 7:30 p.m. CST or 8:30 p.m. EST. The Central Division VHS Champions are paired up against the Scottsboro Wildcats who were the winners of the Northeast Regional in Jacksonville. This is the Rams first return trip to the Final Four since 2001. It is our hope that all of Chambers County will be able to make it out to Birmingham to support one of our teams on Wednesday evening! Please note that breakfast will not be served on Thursday morning.

Please note the following policies and information regarding 2023 State Final Tickets:
Ā· All single tickets are $12.00 with a $1.00 venue fee, plus any additional service fees.
Ā· All single day tickets are for general admission seating as there will be no reserved seating areas within the Legacy Arena for this event.
Ā· All single day tickets are good for all games on the day the ticket is purchased for and used. MAKE SURE YOU SELECT WEDNESDAY, 3/1/23
Ā· There are no āpass outā privileges.

Chambers County School District has approved the calendar for the 2023-2024 School Year. Three drafts were proposed to the District Staff and with 291 votes castā¦draft 2 won having 63.6% of the votes. Please see the newly approved calendar below.
National School Counseling Week 2023, āSchool Counselors: Helping Students Dream Big,ā sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), will be celebrated from Feb. 6ā10, 2023, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do. This week we recognize our Chambers County School District school counselors for all they do for our students, staff, and administration.
